Historia
Outraged when the US Navy seizes three Confederates aboard an English sailing ship, Britain retaliates by entering the fray in support of the Rebels - and suddenly, it's a whole new war. Once again, cotton is king as the North's blockade crumbles before the might of the Royal Navy. While Lincoln confronts the monumental challenge of vanquishing mighty Britannia, the Redcoats revive their 1812 penchant for burning down American cities, and Union troops see Canada as ripe for the picking.

Worst Alt-History Ever
Revisado: 08-03-24
***Potential Spoiler Alert***
I normally like Conroy’s work, but the way he presented such a far-fetched tale based on the CSA becoming weaker with an ally was mind-numbing. Making the Union pretty much infallible and invincible was too far removed from history. I feel like I wasted a credit on this one.

Historia
Revelation chapter 6 clearly says that God's wrath begins at some point after the midpoint of the Tribulation. That means Christians will be here for the first four or five years. In Wrath, the first in a three-book series, D. R. Roquemore follows a fictional family in Texas who discovers the truth about the Rapture. Their story begins a few months before the start of the Tribulation period and follows their attempts to survive the rise of the Antichrist and the subsequent wars and famines.

Good Story, but…
Revisado: 03-17-22
This was a good story and I believe it reflects the most Biblically accurate position for the end times, the Pre-Wrath position. The problem I had was how much it pushed a book, a really good book, but it came off a bit like a sales pitch for The Prewrath Rapture of the Church by Marvin Rosenthal. Getting past this, however, the story is good, and the ending made me really want to read (listen to anyway) the next book. The author really nailed the ending.

Historia
The last few years of the Tribulation will be the worst period of time in the history of the world. God's wrath will be unleashed upon the Earth in the form of seven trumpet and seven bowl judgements. During this time, most of the world's population will be destroyed. Wrath - Left Behind is the second book in the Wrath Trilogy. Our story begins immediately after the Rapture of the Church. Jackson has been left behind and must now try to survive for more than two years, until the Second Coming of Christ. He will face the brutality of the Zone Police, demons, hunger, thirst, and more than a dozen unique judgements....

Really Good Book With Decent Theology
Revisado: 03-17-22
It was an improvement on the first book, more focused on the story. I believe the Pre-Wrath position is the most Biblical position for the end times, so I could get into this better than the left behind series. The writing was decent, and easy to follow.
