Historia
Cent can teleport. So can her parents, but they are the only people in the world who can. This is not as great as you might think it would be - sure, you can go shopping in Japan and then have tea in London, but it's hard to keep a secret like that. And there are people, dangerous people, who work for governments and have guns, who want to make you do just this one thing for them. And when you're a teenage girl things get even more complicated. High school. Boys. Global climate change, refugees, and genocide. Orbital mechanics.

Monotonous storyline, but very well read.
Revisado: 03-20-25
Books 1, 2, and 3 were pretty good, but book 4 really drags on and on for the first 80% and then finally comes to what the entire book is building up to.

Historia
“One thing in particular the high priest wants to make you aware of, no one has ever gotten out of our secret society alive. You and I were brought into it by the special workings of the spirit, and we are to be in subjection to them, not they to us.” With these words Roger’s friend tried to convince him to remain within the camp of the prince of darkness—but Roger had caught a glimmer of Light and was determined to learn more.

Great story and testimony
Revisado: 10-31-24
This book will open your eyes to the spiritual warfare surrounding us daily. Unfortunately, the reader seems to have problems with a natural flow of speech, producing large unnatural pauses between words sentences. Overall, I recommend this book as it is quite the eye-opener and is likely to aid in your spiritual growth.

Not my thing
Revisado: 01-30-23
Horror stories are not my thing. I just started getting every book by Jeremy thinking they would all be more traditional sci-fi stories. The performance was excellent. If you like horror stories, treat this review as a 5-star.

Historia
After the Final War, after the appearance of the Bug aliens and their enforced peace, Shining Smith is still alive, still doing business from the old scrapyard bequeathed to her by her father. But Shining is now something more than human. And the scrapyard is no longer just a scrapyard, but a place full of secrets. This life she has built, while empty, is predictable and safe. Until the only friend left from her previous life shows up, dead, in the back of a scrapped Tesla warplane. Clutched in her cold fingers is a note to Shining - warning her of a coming attack.

Great read!
Revisado: 04-30-18
If you could sum up Ready Player One in three words, what would they be?
Attention grabbing story
Who was your favorite character and why?
Wade. He's the main character behind the avatar. This is his story.
Which scene was your favorite?
The final battle scene with the giant robots going at it.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
It was, but I can only listen while driving, and I didn't have anywhere to drive to for that long.
Any additional comments?
Great story and great narration. The story moves along and doesn't get tedious.
