if you love the simpsons, you will like this book.

amiably, if occasionally gratingly, read by the author (though, to be fair, no one but mike reiss could creditably narrate), this book is exactly what the title promises, plus some excursions into reiss' earlier carreer and other projects. if you have considered buying it, you should; it's fun and packed with behind the scenes stories. if you haven't considered buying it, it's probably not for you, you philistine.

A great angle on a well trodden genre. Recommended

Quite well written for post-modern monster genre fiction. Susanna Hampton is an excellent reader/voice. My sole complaint is the length of the declining action in the tale (I don't want to spoil anything with specifics). If you like vampires, ghouls, conspiracies, and/or how those might interface with human society, Strange Practice should be your next listen.
