This Journal is likely quite a nice gist on Sant Mat, however, though the narrator speaks and pronounced English very well, it seems apparent that she has never heard or said the many Indian words and names contained therein.

She tried to make up for her lack of knowledge on how to say the words by taking twice as long to say them, adding misc syllables and emphasizing incorrect vowels essentially making whole sentences unintelligible. Sawan: Pronounced Sow-ahn, though narrated “Show-haaaan”. Shabd: pronounced shaw-bd was narrated Shaa-bot”. Varnatmic pronounced “Var-not-mick” was narrated something like Var-an-a-ya-ta-mic”. Charan singh, pronounced “Char-an-singh” was narrated Maaa-haaa-raaaj Chaaa-han Siing. Very distracting and took away much of the enjoyment that would otherwise have been possible with a different rendering of the story.
