Brilliant dramatization of a brilliant tale!

It's chaotic, it's intense, the acting is top notch, the comedic timing is solid. Some of the adaptational changes are questionable and Lady Marglotta and Vetinari are made to look a lot more irresponsible and not-in-control as in the story. Vetinari in particular is robbed of some truly standout scenes regarding Gods and Crosswords. The 'folksy' winds and fiddles playing whenever we're in the streets an markets of AM feel a tad cliché and tacky, given how vicious the town is. Overall, though, the life the acting and sound editing bring to the characters and the world make this theatrical production a delight for the ears and the heart. Well worth the credit!

This book complements Hallowel's with the personal accounts of a successful, self-loving example. A bit scattershot and caffeinated structure and delivery, so there's some disappointment, but it's easily forgotten.

Un livre phénoménal ! Éclairé et brillant !

J'ai eu une très grande satisfaction à écouter cette œuvre. Ce n'est pas, comme on pourrait s'y attendre, un manuel pratique de l'aide de soi, enseignant des techniques spécifiques, mais plutôt un essai qui tente de porter à la conscience du lecteur la tragique négligence de la société industrielle actuelle envers ce qui sied au cerveau humain, tout particulièrement dans le domaine de l'enseignement et de l'apprentissage. Il fait ainsi un tour à vol d'oiseau sur un vaste horizon de souffrance systématique, du broyage de l'esprit et de la volonté dans les moules de la chair à école, la chair à argent, tout en nous montrant les opportunités magnifiques s'offrant à nous, les immenses potentiels qui sont pour le moment enchaînés et inhibés au nom d'institutions, de systèmes, de créations humaines qui oublient trop facilement de servir l'humain. J'en sors sidéré, et, ce qui est plus important, avec la soif d'en savoir plus, de poursuivre ses sources, références, et citations.
