Very practical and direct
Revisado: 10-30-24
The author doesn’t waste your time with fluff. He gets straight to the point, giving very direct advice and solid reasoning for that advice. He knows you are trying to build a business and want to help you get profitable as soon as possible.

Historia
In this Hugo Award-winning classic, Enoch Wallace is an ageless hermit, striding across his untended farm as he had done for over a century, still carrying the gun with which he had served in the Civil War. But what his neighbors must never know is that, inside his unchanging house, he meets with a host of unimaginable friends from the farthest stars.

Completely exceeded expectations
Revisado: 02-21-18
I bought this story out of curiosity and very pleased with my purchase. I thought this was a great story. It was very well written and completely engaging. I typically listen to audible books during my daily commute to and from work. I routinely found myself sitting in the car several extra minutes listening to the story. I am now going to look for more of Clifford Simak’s works.

Sometimes we sit at the dinner table and do not know what to say. Our days are long and filled with activities. We enjoy the time with family and friends, but how do you get a conversation started at the dinner table? These questions are a way of both connecting and listening with others. Try to not judge others or yourself answering these questions. There is no right or wrong answer. This is a family-safe list.

Not very insightful. Reminds me of questions children ask. I was expecting some thought provoking questions, not what type of animal would you be.

Historia
The Ringworld is a landmark engineering achievement, a flat band 3-million-times the surface area of Earth, encircling a distant star. Home to trillions of inhabitants, not all of which are human, and host to amazing technological wonders, the Ringworld is unique in all of the universe.

Not a good narration of this story
Revisado: 05-21-17
Would you try another book from Larry Niven and/or Barrett Whitener?
I am a fan of Larry Niven's work. I have read and enjoyed nearly all of his books.
I fully enjoyed the audible narration and tone provided by Paul Michael Garcia in his readings of "The Ringworld Engineers" and "The Ringworld Throne". However, I did not enjoy Barrett Whitener's narration of "Ringworld's Children". The narrator sounds too much like a text to speech engine circa 2000. It was particularly off putting at the beginning of the book as the narrator bores you to death by reading a glossary of terms, as if you needed to know about all of Larry Niven's previous works to enjoy the book. Unfortunately, you will find yourself snoozing by the time the narrator actually begins reading Chapter 1.
How did the narrator detract from the book?
The narrator did not continue with the pronunciations of the words and phrases that are unique to the Ringworld series. Further the narrators voice sounds like a rudimentary text to speech engine.
What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?
Disappointment
Any additional comments?
The audible version of this book requires a do-over.
