Historia
Half-Korean, half-Japanese, Masaji Ishikawa has spent his whole life feeling like a man without a country. This feeling only deepened when his family moved from Japan to North Korea when Ishikawa was just thirteen years old, and unwittingly became members of the lowest social caste. His father, himself a Korean national, was lured to the new Communist country by promises of abundant work, education for his children, and a higher station in society. But the reality of their new life was far from utopian.

Historia
If you want to discover the captivating life of Anne Hutchinson, then pay attention.... Her steps were determined and steady, even though the plank of the wooden ship bobbed up and down in the glittering but frigid water that splashed against the wet dock. In the first light of day, these were the times tinged with the hues of promise shadowed only by the vague unknown. Anne Hutchinson was just a follower, or so she thought, but she had many queued up behind her as she followed her spiritual mentor to Boston in the early days of the Massachusetts Bay Colony.

Good Book
Revisado: 06-04-22
The book gives you a feel for living in her time- A window into the age of the first settlers- I liked the Book-The Author did good but first and foremost Anne was a Christian and a religionists who was fighting for conscience. She had a burning full knowledge and testimony of Christ that was alive and stirred the souls of all that listened she was on fire with the love of the spirit and of God.
To say she was feminist is not the right term—
She would be disgusted by modern feminist doctrine which many women are taught as youth and painfully regret in old age and feel misguided to trade wealth and career prestige for happinesses(Barbara Walters: “I regret not having more children. I would have loved to have had a bigger family,") Feminism today is far off course from a religious, holy and honorable cause if that was their original goal. Anne would be repulsed by their majority anti- Christian ways, immodesty, abortion, few children, millitant atheism in many cases, vitriolic language, mocking of a virtuous life of sexual abstinence before marriage and complete fidelity within marriage, modern feminists have given themselves the reputation of few nurturing famine motherly traits, rampant lewdness promiscuity lasciviousness and flagrant disregard for marital covenants or chastity before marriage. Even though Anne and had to put up with extremely bigoted uncharitable narrowminded insecure and vicious enemies she would be appalled by modern feminists — Many of other men and women that held her same beliefs were treated with equal harshness by the false and inhumane. She obviously lived in a time that was very bigoted and wrong towards women but she had strong convictions for her principles, morals, virtues and testimony that she is light years apart from any sort of modern feminist group of women!
I believe Jesus Christ received her into his room when she died into his rest in glory and peace from all her cares and sorrows.

Historia
A discourse given by Elder B. H. Roberts at the tabernacle in Salt Lake City on Sunday, December 22, 1907, at a memorial service in honor of the 102nd anniversary of Joseph Smith's birth. This powerful discourse treats not the events of Joseph's life but his fulfillment of the role of master teacher. His correction of sectarian doctrine, doctrinal teachings, and role as prophet of the restoration are all examined and reinforced, leaving the listener with an even greater testimony of the seer chosen to restore Christ's church in the latter days.

Good Job!
Revisado: 04-12-22
BH Roberts was an amazing person having been abandoned by two fathers and living in mining camps gambling and drinking he changed his life through reading the book of Mormon and became one of the greatest Defenders of the plan of salvation and the plan of happiness that God has for his children.
He also shows the Joseph Smith is The Great last prophet of the last dispensation- leading up to the second coming of Jesus Christ!

Historia
Investigative journalist Lee Smith's The Plot Against the President tells the story of how Congressman Devin Nunes uncovered the operation to bring down the commander-in-chief. While popular opinion holds that Russia subverted democratic processes during the 2016 elections, the real damage was done not by Moscow or any other foreign actor. Rather, this was a slow-moving coup engineered by a coterie of the American elite, the "deep state," targeting not only the president, but also the rest of the country.

I would give this review six out of five stars it is that good. Hi am avid politico follower of the news but I realized after listening to this book that all I have ever seen is the forest this book is like actually walking through the forest.
Most political books I would compare to sandpaper but this flowed like silk and the knowledge and intelligence was vast. God bless Devon Nunez and Kash Patel for what they did for our country!! We probably won’t know the importance of it until the next life!

Parley P. Pratt’s autobiography is one of the great personal stories of early Latter-day Saint church history. It is an eventful and thrilling story of a man’s complete faith in and total commitment to the restored gospel of Jesus Christ, as well as the price he paid and the blessings he received for pursuing such a course.

Historia
The Faith-Promoting Series began in 1879 with the publication of this book, My First Mission. At that time George Q. Cannon, who was a member of the First Presidency, desired to produce a series of books that would both teach faith and other important gospel principles as well as be entertaining enough that youth would be willing to read them. The results were some of the most important and widest read books in the early-LDS cannon.

Revisado: 09-02-19
I loved all of the stories in this book I can listen to it again and again the Lord was very near to his servants. He protected them and heard their prayers. When in distress or need of food or money for travel it was miraculously always given. Signs and wonders followed these early Missionarys!

Historia
No nation can be greater than the strength of its individual homes or the virtue of its people. Sadly, many today would say ours is a nation in crisis. Families are splintering around us, our children are becoming alienated from their great cultural heritage, and our leaders seem increasingly out of touch. Yet, according to Gordon B. Hinckley, president of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, one cannot lose hope.

Better than unbelievable!Better than great!
Revisado: 09-02-19
Besides The Book of Mormon and the Bible this was the best book I’ve ever read because it was so straightforward and easy to understand yet so bold and uncompromising. With so many personal and simple stories that are engaging and capture your attention. I gained a mountain of knowledge from this book. I like how he tells the American people that they are addicted to recreation very few people truly stand up for virtue and our leaders are quite in need of virtue and making a big deal about it because without virtue in your personal life you cannot have virtue in any of your other dealings or doings. That God loves them and that they should cleave unto God as he Cleves onto them or they will be left on their own and be miserable. But if they turn to God and follow him they will find happiness, and their marriages and their families and their nations. The message is simple wickedness never was happiness!
