Enjoyed them all. Caroline Lennon does a great job narrating the books. Culprits are not obvious. The collection of vol 4-7 includes some of the recipes mentioned throughout the books. Fun light reading.

A fun series. Peabody & Emerson are priceless

The mysteries of Egypt prove no match for the Emersons. A fun listen and interesting stories. I can’t imagine anyone but Barbara Rosenblat as Amelia. You’ll be smiling your way through all the books.

Fun Story how times have changed.

Good characters. It’s a coming of age story in the days when flight attendants were strictly managed. It was fun.

Loved the book - Narrator? Not so much

I have thoroughly enjoyed this series by Louise Penny. I love Inspector Gamache and the residents of Three Pines. Sometimes I wish I could live there. I sorely miss Ralph Cosham as the narrator of the series. Sadly he passed away. According to the author Robert Bathurst was selected from among many. I wish they would go back and search for someone more French. The stories take place in Quebec - the characters particularly Gamache is French Canadian. Mr. Bathurst is British through and through. There is no attempt to speak French correctly when characters respond in French. It is a big miss to switch to a narrator with out the French flair and accent for the characters. I will continue to listen to the stories as I don't want to lose touch with Three Pines. Ms. Penny's stories are great. I wish the narration could match.

A. I little disappointed

I was so excited for one more Amelia Peabody book. I'd missed the Emersons. Only to be disappointed this last story went back in time rather than forward. It was difficult not to have Nefrete and Ramses together or Sethos
as an enemy when we know better. The overall story was in keeping with Amelia's adventures though. Barbara Rosenblatt superb as always. Goodbye Amelia.

Good story not so much narration

Was eagerly awaiting the next John Puller story. So sad to find a new narrator that just didn't fit the bill. His raspy voice just didn't give Puller the command of some one of his stature. The story was good so if he narration doesn't bother you, go for it!

Story excellent. Sound editing. Lacking

As usual Amelia Peabody doesn't disappoint. Excellent performance. Great story. Sound editing was disappointing rough abrupt cuts between chapters. Not good attention to detail. A production error to be sure. But didn't spoil the story or the performance.

Great Store Gabriel at his best with a new foe. Revenge was served. Restoration of Christopher Keller. But one not so small plot line incomplete. Kiara didn't have her babies. I can't believe it. I have to wait another year to find out about them. Aaarrggghhh.

Jen can make me laugh

Loved that Jen read Her own story which had so many recognizable situations from my own world. She makes me laugh. We need more laughter and honesty.
