Chapter 4 is the only worthwhile chapter
Revisado: 06-23-20
It's nearly impossible to focus on the content because the narrator seems to be reading at a middle school level, stumbling over his words, mispronouncing well known medical conditions, and speaking in monotone. Also there is some blatant misinformation in this book (e.g. on PTSD demographics)

Historia
Written in the tradition of Shrill, Dead Girls, Sex Object, and other frank books about the female gaze, Too Much encourages women to reconsider the beauty of their excesses - emotional, physical, and spiritual. Rachel Vorona Cote braids cultural criticism, theory, and storytelling together in her exploration of how culture grinds away our bodies, souls, and sexualities, forcing us into smaller lives than we desire.

The narration is engaging and dynamic, with the narrator employing various tones and affects to convey varied perspectives of the book's chapters. The author's analysis is incisive and solid. Would be fantastic reading material for a women's studies or gender studies course.

Historia
From the moment powerful men started falling to the #MeToo movement, the lamentations began: This is feminism gone too far, this is injustice, this is a witch hunt. In The Witches Are Coming, firebrand author of the New York Times best-selling memoir and now critically acclaimed Hulu TV series Shrill Lindy West turns that refrain on its head. You think this is a witch hunt? Fine. You've got one.

Each chapter feels like a separate, related essay

rather than the coherent continuation of the previous chapter's/chapters' ideas and arguments. Loved it otherwise
