Historia
Being confronted on the beach by a sexy stranger wasn't part of Natalie Conner's plans for a peaceful morning taking photos. And why on earth would he think she's taking pictures of him, anyway? Who is he? One thing’s for sure, he’s hot, and incredibly romantic, feeding Natalie’s wounded soul.

More like Run Far Away From Me
Revisado: 08-28-17
Would you try another book from Kristen Proby and/or Jennifer Mack?
No. Even for erotica, this is trash. Trash characters. Trash story. Boring sex. Boring life.
What was most disappointing about Kristen Proby’s story?
I was giving this book a very open mind while I was reading- bad writing? it's erotica, it's not winning any prizes. The places where this book lost me were (spoilers, duh):
1. Nat was 100% okay with her boyfriend being a jealous obsessive prick. Luke gets mad anytime a person of the opposite sex even talks to Natalie. After day one, he wants to spend every waking minute with her to the point where he follows her to work, assaults her clients, buys her a ticket for a week long vacation after only knowing each other for less than a week. He wants to introduce her to his family and asks extremely personal details about stuff most people wouldn't bring up until the relationship was much father along that 48 hrs. He shames her for not being on birth control, he shames her for not being a virgin, he shames her when she dresses too skimpily for his taste. Even if this ass is a hot movie star, he's got 50 shades of hooker strangler written all over him.
2. Women hating on women ---super great. awesome. Definitely not an outdated theme of 'cool girl wannabe'. Anytime Nat and Luke go out in public, Natalie is like "look at these pathetic women who all want to sleep with my boyfriend. I feel so sorry for them." - lady, get off your high horse and go take some pictures of nature that people in Puget Sound are apparently dying over.
3. There's an attempted assault scene that serves no purpose other than to have the one person of color in this book (Jennifer Mack gives us a totally great non offensive accent with this character, please note the sarcasm) lust after the beautiful white woman right before her hunky boyfriend can beat him and she gets the chance to kick him in the balls while he's being handcuffed. Seriously. This is shit most writers grow past once they leave middle school.
How could the performance have been better?
I think she just recorded herself saying "baby" and "beautiful" once and just played that anytime those words came up because she seriously says them in the same tone and inflection. So you know....variety?
You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?
The redeeming quality was that for most of it I had a blast shouting at the characters while I listened to this in my car -- until eventually...even that became boring.
Any additional comments?
Barf.

Historia
Up until senior year, Greg has maintained total social invisibility. He only has one friend, Earl, and together they spend their time - when not playing video games and avoiding Earl's terrifying brothers - making movies, their own versions of Coppola and Herzog cult classics. Greg would be the first one to tell you his movies are f*@$ing terrible, but he and Earl don't make them for other people. Until Rachel.

The conundrum of listening to this book
Revisado: 06-21-15
Greg is one of the most obnoxious narrators ever. That said, this book wouldn't be Me and Earl and the Dying Girl without him. It's quite the conundrum.
