Filled to the brim with practical suggestions, pagan and Wicca spells, and helpful advice, this essential audiobook brings to light all facets of a modern witch's life: the seven core beliefs of witches, mindful eating and health, creating sacred space at home, relationships with non-pagans, sex and the single witch, raising pagan children, solitary and coven practice, pagan ritual, and green living.

One of the best books on Witchcraft/pagan Lifestyles
Revisado: 09-23-20
I enjoyed this book so much that I purchased both the audible version and the paperback itself so I could underline and refer back to areas I especially enjoyed and wanted to make note of. The narrator was fantastic. I highly recommend this book in either version to anyone wanting to learn about paganism, witchcraft or Wicca.

Historia
For years, rumors of the "Marsh Girl" have haunted Barkley Cove, a quiet town on the North Carolina coast. So in late 1969, when handsome Chase Andrews is found dead, the locals immediately suspect Kya Clark, the so-called Marsh Girl. But Kya is not what they say. Sensitive and intelligent, she has survived for years alone in the marsh that she calls home, finding friends in the gulls and lessons in the sand.

Wow....
Revisado: 03-01-20
This was a really, really good book. If I could give it a 10 I would. The reader was perfect. The story full, and three dimensional if I can use that word this way. So well written I could “see” the shack, the marsh, the birds, the insects, all of it like a painting done with words. I want to read another by Delia Owens because it was an experience with all my senses involved as though I were right there with Kia. I won’t ruin the experience for you. Just read it.

A Wonderful journey
Revisado: 02-12-19
I thoroughly enjoyed this book and the narrator was excellent. It is the story of a family of witches with the “craft”passed down from mother to daughter for centuries. In the early times when the family had to travel as refugees and hide in other places, carrying their Grimoire and crystal with them because of the burnings and hangings. Some misused it, some doubted, and some used it for good things. I was mesmerized!

Revisado: 10-12-18
This series is so good. This is the third book in the Black Witch Chronicles and darn....I am so excited to read the next one "Oh holy ancient One" how will I ever contain myself til the next one comes out! If you were one of the many readers mesmerized by the Twightlight series the grab this series and begin to read. I was fortunate to listen to an incredibly good narrator. Julie Whalen is really good. I found myself drawn in completely by her excellent narration of the first book and the third. The second one was a different character --so a different narrator. Its quite hard to follow after Julie Whelan. Let yourself be drawn into this wonderful fantasy!

I enjoyed listening to this crime novel. It wasn't creepy but one of those mysterys that are nice to snuggle up and read with a good cup of coffee (or tea) on a comfortable sofa during a rainy day. Actually I also love listening while I do some chore I've been avoiding. Thank goodness for audio books!
