A good ending

I was worried I would not be happy with the impossible options to end this story. But I like how it all went down. Great job.

Historia
In this “vital, necessary, and beautiful book” (Michael Eric Dyson), antiracist educator Robin DiAngelo deftly illuminates the phenomenon of white fragility and “allows us to understand racism as a practice not restricted to 'bad people'" (Claudia Rankine). Referring to the defensive moves white people make when challenged racially, white fragility is characterized by emotions such as anger, fear, and guilt and by behaviors including argumentation and silence. These behaviors, in turn, function to reinstate white racial equilibrium and prevent meaningful cross-racial dialogue.

Historia
Margot Cary has spent her life immersed in everything Lake Sackett is not. As an elite event planner, Margot's rubbed elbows with the cream of Chicago society and made elegance and glamour her business. She's riding high until one event goes tragically, spectacularly wrong. Now she's blackballed by the gala set and in dire need of a fresh start - and apparently the McCreadys are in need of an event planner with a tarnished reputation.

Enjoyable, but not Molly's best.
Revisado: 03-05-20
I found the main characters insecurities a bit much and the love story a bit awkward. but it's light and fun and easy to listen to like most of Molly's books. narrator did a great job.

Historia
The Faceless Man, wanted for multiple counts of murder, fraud, and crimes against humanity, has been unmasked and is on the run. Peter Grant, Detective Constable and apprentice wizard, now plays a key role in an unprecedented joint operation to bring him to justice. But even as the unwieldy might of the Metropolitan Police bears down on its foe, Peter uncovers clues that the Faceless Man, far from being finished, is executing the final stages of a long-term plan. A plan that has its roots in London's 2,000 bloody years of history, and could literally bring the city to its knees.

A groundbreaking work of science fiction, The Left Hand of Darkness tells the story of a lone human emissary to Winter, an alien world whose inhabitants can change their gender. Couldn't get into it. It was a weird documentary style presentation focusing a lot on minute details that I just couldn't care about. I tried, I really did, but after three hours or so and NOTHING to care about, I had to stop.

Historia
Jazz Bashara is a criminal. Well, sort of. Life on Artemis, the first and only city on the moon, is tough if you're not a rich tourist or an eccentric billionaire. So smuggling in the occasional harmless bit of contraband barely counts, right? Not when you've got debts to pay and your job as a porter barely covers the rent. Everything changes when Jazz sees the chance to commit the perfect crime, with a reward too lucrative to turn down.

Horrible Narration
Revisado: 11-10-17
Absolutely awful. Could not listen to it. The most monotone, flat performance I have ever listened too. Fight scenes were told with the same inflection as tender love scenes. I love Terry Goodkind. He's an amazing story teller and this narrator made his writing seem simple and bumbling. I'm just going to go buy the book. There's no way I could ever make it through this mess. Horrible, Horrible, Horrible Narration.

Using mindfulness and distress tolerance techniques, you'll learn how to deescalate angry situations before they have a chance to explode into destructive fights. You'll discover ways to manage problems with negotiation, not conflict, and to find true acceptance and closeness with the person you love the most.

Notations Should be Left in the Written Version
Revisado: 10-19-17
It is very hard to listen to a behavior therapy book and follow the train of thought when every other sentence has notations and references listed regarding where the data came from. Important information,I know. You have to credit your sources, and reference appropriate studies and papers, however, in the middle of an audio book is not the place for that. It breaks up the whole flow of the message and makes it very hard to listen to or care about. I am 30 minutes into a 6 hour book and am already annoyed. I will attempt to continue and change the overall and story ratings when done, but performance will stay at 1 star.
