This is one of the best books that I have listen to in a long time, To the point of non stop listening. I expect that book 2 is just as good as book 1.

Couldn't get past Chapter 5

Right from the get go the story line was very week. I just couldn't bring myself to listen past 10 min at a time. Over the past few days I couldn't get past Chapter 5 and gave up on the book. I found the characters to be week and remind me of the collage kids in a B rated movie. You may like it, but it's defiantly not a book that caught my interest to keep going.

This sequel has been well worth the wait! Another great book by David Weber. I just hope it not the end of the series. He left the world hanging when ended Heirs of Empire.

I have no idea, I'm a Die Hard David Weber fan, but I couldn't finish 1/2 of this book. Started off boring and stayed that way till I stopped listening to is. Doesn't seem like his normal works.
