Dark, depressing, hostile,anti-American, a traitor to both sides.

The author is a gifted writer technically but it is hard to believe Americans would be encouraged to read such uninspired, shallow, debased trash by an author obviously suffering from depression. The author dosen’t seem to understand that the average american was victimized by this war as much as the Vietnamese.
