Historia
For generations, we have focused on the individual drivers of success: Passion, hard work, talent, and luck. But in today’s dramatically reconfigured world, success is increasingly dependent on how we interact with others. In Give and Take, Adam Grant, an award-winning researcher and Wharton’s highest-rated professor, examines the surprising forces that shape why some people rise to the top of the success ladder while others sink to the bottom.

Life changing!
Revisado: 06-22-16
This is one of those books that make an appearance on your list of Audible titles quite randomly and ends up being one of the best purchases ever. The author actually provides evidence for the benefits of doing good for others without expecting anything in return. It is hard to believe that there's such a huge body of research on a relatively amorphous topic like this. This book really opened my mind to the realities of giving and occasionally put me to shame for my lack of giving behaviour when there are so many around who give effortlessly. An eye opener for me for sure!

Historia
People starting out in business tend to seek step-by-step formulas or rules, but in reality there are no magic bullets. Rather, says veteran company-builder Norm Brodsky, there's a mentality that helps street- smart entrepreneurs solve problems and pursue opportunities as they arise. Brodsky shares his hard-earned wisdom every month in Inc. magazine, in the hugely popular "Street Smarts" column he cowrites with Bo Burlingham. Now they've adapted their best advice into a comprehensive guide for anyone running a small business.

A very good book. Picked up a lot of points
Revisado: 04-15-16
I think the book is full of a lot of wisdom that is earned first-hand. I also liked the no-nonsense style of the author, who makes it plain that there's no easy path to success. All in all, the book is absolutely worth the time, money and effort. The narrator does well overall, but has an annoying habit of saying an very pronounced 'h' before any word that starts with 'wh'. Basically, 'what' becomes 'H-what'. And once you discover this, it is hard to ignore. Not a deal breaker in any way though.

Didn't include what I hoped it would
Revisado: 03-09-16
While it is a decent compilation of various viewpoints, it didn't impress me a whole lot. The author narrates the book reasonably well. There was a time though, when I felt like quitting since the content seemed like it was too banal. All in all, not bad, but not extraordinary as well.

Neither good nor bad
Revisado: 07-14-15
Decent story that really gets repetitive and predictable in the last hour or so making it a boring part to suffer through, after a promising, captivating start. The male narrator does an okay job. The lady however, makes the listener suffer through her lisping. I'm not saying that people with tongue thrust shouldn't be narrators. But I'd prefer to avoid them if I can.
