The stories were fine. The "virtual voice" they used is terrible. Inflections are off, it pronounced things weird, it was monotone and the no emphasis on anythis so it made it so hard to follow. Just a monotone drone. What's worst of all is it's missing the soul and voice of Liam Owen.

The narration was very good, but the story just didn't feel the same as the other books in the series. The story felt much slower and didn't have the same level of deciphering clues and twists. In my opinion its skippable and doesnt add to the Robert Langdon series.

I'm not a fan of radio dramas, I find them hard to follow. The characters were also performed differently than the rest of the series so it just wasnt the same. and not worth listening to if you're looking for a continuation of the story.

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

Yes, it was very well spent, very entertaining.

What did you like best about this story?

The sound effects, they were really elaborate, and helped fill in some information that was missing from traditional narration.

Do you think FREE: Locke & Key needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

No, the story wrapped up really well.

Any additional comments?

I haven't listened to a audio-comic before, but its missing a little from that of an audio-book. Because comics paint the exact picture they want their reader to see, it just wasn't translated into the audio. It was easy to get lost because the narrator wasn't setting a scene; for example, fights were just grunts with no indication who was winning till after. It was fun using my imagination for everything but the dialogue, but it got tedious and I found myself rewinding many scenes just to pick out any hint to decipher what I was hearing.
