This wonderfully old-fashioned adventure, love and detective story by James Oliver Curwood set in the Northern Canadian wilderness of the early 1900's will entertain and charm the listener like no other! The hero has to save his business from unknown enemies and in the process falls in love with a beautiful young woman who lives in a mysterious hidden old fort... Escapism done in a nice and well-balanced way.

loved this as much as The Alaskan, tales of old times in the wild north, beautifully written descriptive with great plot twists and wonderful love story!
