Fantastic overview from a thoughtful scholar of the Inklings!
Revisado: 11-22-23
This was a great overview of Lewis’s life and works! Dr Higgins provided thoughtful analysis with a lively lecture delivery style. My only regret was that I wanted more of it. Perhaps Audible will ask her to do one on Charles Williams or perhaps a series of thorough analysis of key works by Lewis and other Inklings.

Historia
The ancient Greeks, more than any other early culture, have given us the template for Western civilization, as seen in their superlative achievements in the fields of architecture, political theory, philosophy, science, and art - not the least of which are their inventions of democracy and drama. In these 24 compelling lectures, Professor Garland guides you in a richly illuminating exploration of what the ancient Greeks have given us, and why they’re still important to us today.

This thrilling young adult novel gives listeners a macro view of some of the most important events in the Star Wars universe, from the rise of the Rebellion to the fall of the Empire. Listeners will experience these major moments through the eyes of two childhood friends - Ciena Ree and Thane Kyrell - who have grown up to become an Imperial officer and a Rebel pilot. Lost Stars is one of the best books in new canon
Revisado: 11-14-17
I enjoyed listening to this book as it steered through some well known events in Star Wars movie history. The relationship between the two main characters was believable, though it was at times hard to understand the female lead's devotion to the Empire. As always, the production of this Star Wars book was to notch and the narrator was excellent!
