Wow what an amazing read and LOVE the narration. I saw somebody say they wee unhappy that Quentin didn’t read the whole thing. Meh. This narrator is as good as they come. I think you’ll love it.

Please stop adding these annoying ringing sounds between chapters. I can’t emphasize enough how unreadable that makes these recordings.

Even for a professional philosopher—just treat the chapters like meditation moments and enjoy. Done!

The science in the title refers to the actual science of giving and receiving feedback. The art refers to the concrete illustrations of how this is done and recommendations for practices to incorporate into your daily life.

This audiobook has an awful narrator. It makes listening to an investing classic unbearable. This is sad.

Not at all what I was expecting, but still managed to exceed expectations. I expected a book that was heavy on scientific and historical explanations, but it ended up doing a lot more with narrative than I would have thought possible, and in a way that contributed to my understanding of the event.

This is a good factual account of the life of a great coach, but it offers very little in the way of genuine insight into the man or his method.

It is remarkable that the author should be able to write with such clarity and then deliver a reading that surpasses those of professional voice performers.

All the Pretty Horses Audiolibro Por Cormac McCarthy arte de portada

As a long time Cormac McCarthy fan, and somebody who has read the entire Border Trilogy several times, I was extremely disappointed with the performer's delivery of the dialogue and the internal monologues. For an example of someone who clearly understands the voices McCarthy writes into his stories, look at Tommy Lee Jones' performances in No Country for Old Men or The Sunset Limited. In the former, for example, we hear Jones' character's internal monologue even as we watch events that do not involve him unfold. It's very powerful, but the only reason it works is because Jones doesn't even need to be in the frame to play his character because he has so thoroughly mastered his voice.

One is reminded of the moment in Oscar Wilde's trial for writing indecent literature when the prosecuting attorney reads aloud from some of Wilde's work and then asks him to state for the record whether they were, in fact, his words. Wilde's reply: "Not as you read them, sir, for you read them quite badly."

I suspect Cormac might feel the same way about Mr. Muller's work.
