I'm Arwyn Cassandra Corey, the sea wicche, or the wicche who lives by the sea. It requires a lot more work than I'd anticipated to remodel an abandoned cannery and turn it into an art gallery & tea bar. It's coming along, though, especially with the help of a new werewolf who's joined the construction crew. He does beautiful work. His sexy, growly, bearded presence is very hard to ignore, but I'm trying. I'm not sure how such a laid-back guy got the local Alpha and his pack threatening to hunt him down and tear him apart, but we all have our secrets.

This installment was lacking. I was often lost as there apparently were Novelas in between that were not available on audible. Not everything was resolved. Alice still seems stuck in fairyland subject to a forced marriage. I really want my credit back. This just ended badly.

I was reading surprised how much I enjoyed this book. Our MC is a strong women with a good head on her shoulders. We follow along with her on this murder mystery as she solves who’s been killing prominent men in New Orléans.

Poet our main character is very whiny and immature somehow she is the manager of the circus. This distracts from the story potential. It is a common theme with many of Ms. Lee’s series. However many of the other characters make up for the short comings of the MC.

Author's hang-ups ruin story

It was okay

The main character is often too stupid to live and extremely bull headed. I get so tired of authors writing women as stupid people. It got to the point it was irritating but since it was a box set it provided many hours of mediocre entertainment.
However so much of the book is her in headspace that it’s like one super long ground hog day. One most skip multiple chapters to get past all this to get to the real action of the story.

This was a very funny series. Unfortunately this is the last book. Having said that it was well written it’s just the ending needed just a tad bit more and ended needing maybe a last chapter so you could get everybody’s happily ever after
