The further adventure of Armstrong Armstrong is engaging and at times belly laugh-inducing for its comic turns and quirky but winsome characters. The author faithfully recreatesI yearn for more of it.

I loved the level-headed approach to our national crisis of loneliness backed up by serious science and clinical experience.

This cleverly written and engrossing mystery is also a ticket to travel to another era. The trip to the Roaring Twenties is revealing, endearing and, at times, disturbing. Truly worth the read.

"Shoe Dog" is a beautiful story of struggle, loyalty, camaraderie, loss and triumph. The narrative is powerfully compelling; you'll stay up late to find out how Bowerman's suggestions to Onitsuka turned out or how the US Customs problem was resolved. It's really honest; Phil Knight is frank in admitting his failures and regrets. He's a man of few words but of deep feelings and thoughts. As a podcaster who interviews founders to understand them better (https://AngelInvestBoston.com) I drew many valuable lessons from this excellent book. BTW my wife, a retired teacher, heard snatches of it and now wants to hear the whole thing.
