Truth and honesty

Angie writes and narrates her story in such an authentic and vulnerable way. She gives us the highs, lows and what she called her rock bottom which would seem like middle ground to most people. She walks us through her career as the voice of New York when she was with Hot 97 and then her departure. This was such a good book that I listened whenever I was in my car and would rewind if I missed something.

References to the Bible to back up the content was on point.
I could relate to a lot of what he was saying as I’m sure that most people will/can
Cons:
NARRATION NARRATION NARRATION. I don’t the cost of having someone to narrate but the female part was so small that it could’ve have been a big expense to have a female narrate Natalie part.

Why not use the interviewees?

The audio version was good but it could've been better had the participants read their parts. The voice actors trying to "sound" like them was a little jarring the first time I heard it. Each person could've recorded their parts in it's entirety and then cut and splice where each section was needed. The voice actors didn't take away from the overall experience but it lent nothing to it either.
