Two videogame voice actors walk onto set and completely give this book a new life of its own. Also the book is just great and highly re-readable.

The book is very dense and long. There are appendices and graphs, quotes and citations. Overall, I learned a lot from this book and would highly recommend it as a reading. However, the writing is quite repetitive and at times full chapters seem to go over information that was already described in detail in some chapters previous.

Great Parallel to Cyberpunk 2077 Mishap

The book can be seen as a nice parallel to any corporate mismanagement where a project deadline is faced with reality, expectations, company politics, and investors. The story is compelling enough to overcome some of the one dimensional characters and the overly detailed email readings.
I found this book to be even more of a gem as the new Cyberpunk 2077 release by CDPR was a known disaster that happened anyway. In the story, it was the Ops team being ignored by management, but it could have well been the Dev or Finance or any other team, to say.

Blends Together & Kind of Boring

I have been listening to this while at work for the past week or so. And, the chapters definitely blend together as the big arching idea is not well stated per chapter. I also fine the book to be kind of repetitive (ie boring). It does give some nice remarks, but not enough to be as long as the book is. I would recommend increasing the speed of the reader if you gonna listen.

the narrator was good until the end when he tried out his annoying and possibly offensive accents of Chinese, Texas accent, Indian accent, et cetera.
story was like a less kitschy version of the secret for angrier people. overall I'd still recommend this.
