Not finished just yet, but I am excited to watch this world unfold. i am usually a fantasy person, so this was a bit of a branch out, but I love the marriage of fantasy and sci-fi in this world. Diverse and memorable characters too. Big fan.

Good Fantasy Series

If you are looking for a good epic fantasy, you've found it. Colorful cultures, believable magic, memorable characters. It's less gritty than GoT, but happier. It's more magical than The First Law, and more mature than Harry Potter. It fits nicely into any shelf containing these books. My only negative review is of the narrator. And I do not criticize his performance, as much as the choice of narrator in general. Nick is too young. I feel like his voice removes some of the sinister quality I felt while reading the paperback.
