Where does Fesito Goes to Market rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
One of my fave kids ones
What did you like best about this story?
It is a really heartwarming tale, but Don Cheadle really makes it. He surprised me, it really sounds like he put a lot of effort into this.
Which scene was your favorite?
the bike ride :D
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
No, but I did giggle a little.
Any additional comments?
I'll be downloading another Don Cheadle read tale if I can find one.

Historia
Here is a recording of a War Department pamphlet aimed at U.S. Servicemen in Britain in 1942. The jovial tone of the document and its advice about how NOT to offend the British make for a nostalgic - and in places humorous - relic of World War II.

Would you listen to Instructions for American Servicemen in Britain, 1942 again? Why?
Absolutely. I have already listened to it twice more. I love old things and from an outsider's perspective it is quite amusing. Mind you, it is STILL quite useful.
Who was your favorite character and why?
The Tommy, of course.
Which scene was your favorite?
The =overview at the end
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
No I didn't, but it did make me giggle, not something the authors would have intended.
Any additional comments?
Well worth a listen

Historia
Harry Haller is a sad and lonely figure, a reclusive intellectual for whom life holds no joy. He struggles to reconcile the wild primeval wolf and the rational man within himself without surrendering to the bourgeois values he despises. His life changes dramatically when he meets a woman who is his opposite, the carefree and elusive Hermine.

Poetic
Revisado: 02-02-12
Where does Steppenwolf rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
Pretty high.
Who was your favorite character and why?
The main character is the only one really explored in great depth
What does Peter Weller bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Listening to this book is a completely different experience to reading it yourself. I would consider it important to do both. Peter Weller's delivery is compelling and compassionate. He made every sentance sound like poetry.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
Many, especially in the last scenes.
Any additional comments?
I will be listening to this again. Once cannot be enough as there is just so much to be had from it.

Not bad at all
Revisado: 02-02-12
Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?
Yes I would. It is not the sort of thing I would usually listen to. But it is good and it does one good to listen to all kinds of short stories now and again.
What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)
By halfway you have worked out how it will end, but I had to keep going cos I was curious to see how it would be handled. It was interesting.
Which scene was your favorite?
The last
Could you see The Gentle Brush of Wings: A Free Short Story from Defining Moments being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?
Oh dear, I'm no good at casting calls.
Mila Jovavich? Steve Buscemi?
Any additional comments?
Really good quality for a freebie!

I knew Alan Rickman would make a good reader.
Revisado: 02-02-12
If you could sum up The Ring of the King in three words, what would they be?
I love the idea of becoming aquainted with African folk tales, but I wasn't sure I'd love a whole book's worth, so I am glad I could pick up the stories individually (IF you are certain you will love them then you should buy the book as a whole and save money). This was one of the first tales I bought because I was confident that Alan Rickman would make a great narrator. Boy was I right!! Well, it is a no brainer really.
What did you like best about this story?
It has a nice moral twist
Which scene was your favorite?
The reveal
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Yes, and I did. Many times.
Any additional comments?
I would now probably listen to just about anything read by Rickman.

I want more
Revisado: 02-02-12
Where does The Restaurant at the End of the Universe rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
If I couldn't have this read by Stephen Fry, then Martin Freeman is the only other person who could do it justice. I have loved this book almost as much as the first in the series. Can't wait to get my hands on the next installment.
Who was your favorite character and why?
Zaphod becomes much more intreresting this time around.
Which character – as performed by Martin Freeman – was your favorite?
The bathing captain :)
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Yes, and I could manage it one day.
