I loved the story and the narration but the long quotes from Twitter feeds and moderator channels make the flow of the book and story awkward. This book is not suitable to be narrated in my humble opinion. Apart from that, great book Very good and fast paced when the main characters are in focus (and not the Twitter feeds).

It is weird to read the memoir of a stranger and recognizing so many overlaps with our own daughter's behavior and mind set. It opened my eyes in many ways. In addition, she is telling an interesting life story full of hope and funny anecdotes.

Most trivia are repeated over and over. Some in different ways, but many are just plain repeated. The narrator never saw a Harry Potter movie, he constantly mispronounces places and other things that any Potter reader knows. He even mispronounces J.K. Rowling's name all the time. I found the whole book irritating.

I have spend many days in hospitals, and it was enlightening to see what a typical day of a nurse looks like. I always make a point of doing as much as possible myself. Not to make life easier for the nurses, but from a sense of pride. From now on it will also be to lighten the burden of the nurses. I enjoyed reading this book and learned to see my hospital stays also from another perspective.

The beginning is interesting and rings true. I was a volunteer in a kibbutz as well and now live on another kibbutz with my wife. The only thing that annoyed me in the beginning was the choice of having a non-Hebrew speaker read this book laced with Hebrew. Later on it becomes more and more obvious that the author has bought into the anti-Israel narrative that is so rampant amongst leftists in the western world. No voice for the Israeli point of view, only Israel bashing. This is one on the few books I didn't manage to finish reading using Audible. I stopped reading 2 hours and 16 minutes from the end...
