I enjoyed the portrayal of the inter-relationships of Noah’s family and their dedication to The Creator. The treacherous times of Noah leading up to the flood were compelling, and the Watchers and Nephilim among them added an element of the supernatural. References to the Biblical text gave a good framework. Most enjoyable.

I liked the plot development of how Esther came to love the king, and how Haman’s jealousy and hatred toward the Jews was his undoing. Good storytelling in weaving together how these Luces and motives played out. Fun opulent backdrop and setting in palace court.

Good biographical perspective

This was an insightful biography of two consequential men in our American story . It gave a great portrayal of context of the tumultuous times leading up to and during the Civil War. It got inside of the minds and motives of these men and their influencers so you come away with a deeper understanding of how and why history unfolded the way it did. It held my interest throughout.
