Historia
After years of bullying and cajoling others as a high-flying public relations boss, Agatha Raisin’s early retirement to the picture-postcard village of Carsley in the Cotswolds is a dream come true. And how better to begin making herself a local leading light than by entering the village quiche-making competition? Unburdened by old-fashioned ideas of fair play, the ruthless Agatha decides to ensure she wins by buying her entry from a London delicatessen.

Agatha Raisin Has Me Hooked!
Revisado: 06-06-22
Great to have a complicated character who solves murders bit makes you laugh out loud at the same time. I've listened to all the available Agatha Raisin series to date. Penelope Keith is a superb narrator!

Fascinating!
Revisado: 05-14-18
One of those true stories with no fixed ending. In the interest of justice, hopefully one day the truth will come out. This story leaves one with the question "Who is telling the truth, or is it all lies?"

It's also good for business; Siobhan O'Sullivan's bistro will be catering the three-day affair. When the drunken best man is disinvited, Siobhan's own beau, Macdara, gladly steps in. But finding the original best man murdered in the woods casts a pall over the nuptials. And when a second member of the wedding party is poisoned, Macdara goes from being best man to prime suspect.

Enjoyable
Revisado: 10-19-17
Found the plot a bit of a stretch, but the main characters are engaging. Wish the author had researched some aspects of Irish life a bit more. Some gaffes in relation to things concerning the church. Perhaps Ms. O'Connor needed to fudge some facts to fit the plot. I will continue reading to see what happens wjth the characters.
