Historia
Separated by 10 years, 3,000 miles, and the unrelenting stresses of adulthood, best friends Janet and Serena plan a 40th birthday girls’ trip to reconnect. But after a massive crash, they’re the only survivors to wash ashore on an uncharted Caribbean Island. Armed with only the clothes on their backs and zero survival skills, they fight to overcome hunger, thirst, deadly wildlife—and most terrifyingly—decades of accrued resentment. Can they find their way home, or will they kill each other first?

His record of being proved right decade after decade is unparalleled and what he uncovers here has the potential to transform human perception of self and reality.

Captivating listen
Revisado: 01-11-25
It’s either one gets the concepts presented or doesn’t.
David Icke is the only person that can narrate his books. It’s like being in one of his presentations. Captivating, funny and provocative.

I like books that get to the point and are relevant. Beyond relevance, the principles presented are implementable.
This book is a most welcome integration tool for the prior spiritual / energetic work I’ve done. To witness the release of trapped emotions related to me is encouraging.

Historia
In January 2019, culture writer Anne Helen Petersen set the internet on fire with her viral BuzzFeed essay diagnosing “millennial burnout” - a chronic state of stress and exhaustion that’s become a “base temperature” for young people today. Now, she continues this generation-defining conversation in a brand-new format, interviewing millennials around the country about their own deeply personal experiences with burnout, and the culture that creates it.

Historia
Medical Apartheid is the first and only comprehensive history of medical experimentation on African Americans. Starting with the earliest encounters between black Americans and Western medical researchers and the racist pseudoscience that resulted, it details the ways both slaves and freedmen were used in hospitals for experiments conducted without their knowledge - a tradition that continues today within some black populations.

A necessary read
Revisado: 04-01-17
Content: well researched and adroitly presented analysis of the dark history that befell Africans by Caucasians. It is critical that Africans learn true history which will never be taught or is softened in mainstream education. Perhaps then with the truth, Africans will return to a healthy self-determination.

This book is a game changer. It helped me scientifically understand why certain things recurred in my life. I appreciate the power of meditation more after having listened and applied the principles in the book.
