Not what I expected

I bought this book after listening to his interview in a podcast. I was looking for something that would approach the situation of not being able to cry.
This book is very beautiful but focuses more on the anti racial side and on how people use their tears to manipulate .
I guess I just misinterpreted what he said in the podcast and bought the wrong book.
