Fantastic narration from both parties. Story kept me intrigued as well, but some parts of it fell a bit short. Otherwise, thought-provoking and twisty, especially towards the end. Entertaining!

I cannot say enough good things about this audiobook. I will say I listen to several books per week, and this was my favorite read of 2019. Hands down. The hilarity, the humanity—it’s all here in one incredible story unlike any other I have read thus far. 10/10 + would recommend!

Best Yet!!!

I am a big fan of Ruth Ware’s fictional works, and this just may be my favorite one yet.
I devoured this book in about 2 days. It appealed to me on many levels, and seeing as how I have been a Professional Nanny for years, that aspect helped pique my interest even further. Ware writes with stunning detail at the beginning of this story, and then the plot keeps thickening right up to the final words.
I am so sad the story is over, & I am trying to stave off the “book hangover” that I’m now experiencing having just finished this. Because I abhor spoilers, let me just say that I have over 800 books in my Audible Library, and I am very picky about using a credit—but I would have used 2+ credits for this phenomenal book. Also, this book is now one of my favorite audiobooks of all time (something I do not say lightly). Narration was spot-on & brilliant; I loved every moment of this work. Bravo!

All The Way

I loved it all the way. I would give this all the constellations if I could! This beautiful audiobook is my favorite of 2016 so far, and I normally read audiobooks on a daily basis. The narration is perfect, & seems to add a lot to the story. I think this novel may come across better on audio than in print, it seems made for audio!

Gripping!

I stepped outside of my 'usual' favorite genres with this & was surprised--this gripped my attention fast & held it! Action-packed and never a dull moment, I flew through this quickly!
Not only that, the author writes beautifully--I nearly felt suspended in time & place as I listened to this.
Narration was also fantastic and extremely pleasant to listen to; enhanced overall experience immensely!

Very Engrossing!

I could hardly put this book down! I had been stuck in a sort of reading rut for a bit previous to choosing this title, and this book drive me up & out of it swiftly & eloquently. This was my first Karin Slaughter novel, and I have since gotten two more--one in which I blew through in just one day. I chose this in large part because of the many positive reviews written by some others I follow on Goodreads.
It definitely did not disappoint. While admittedly, parts of it were a little graphic, I am normally a pretty sensitive person & I did not have to skip any parts. One of the best things about this book is that although all the main characters are flawed in some way (of course), I found myself warming up to them in no time. As the tale movedk forward, I found myself cheering on the two main female characters (yes, even out loud at times, haha). I found Karin Slaughter did a great job of character building in this thriller while painting detailed scenes that keep the reader on the edge of his/her seat! Wonderfully twisted twister!!

YOU is my new favorite read this year!

Let me preface this by saying I listen to a LOT of audiobooks of various genres.
This one was so captivating I could hardly put it down. I fiercely devoured it. The narrator, Santino Fontana, did a ridiculously fantastic job. I am beyond glad I got the Audio version of this! I realize there is a significant 'love it or hate it' divide amongst many fellow reviewers, & I am 100% in the "LOVE IT" camp on this book! Best Audiobook I have read so far this year, and I typically read one or more new audiobooks per week. After finishing this one, I raced online to see if there was any buzz about a sequel. I was overjoyed to discover it is already in the works! I can hardly wait for its release date to come (supposed to be in February of 2016), but it is definitely something I am greatly looking forward to!!

Captivating Read

I honestly did not expect to like this one as much as I did. It is technically a "YA" book, but the main female protagonist seems wise beyond her age in many ways. The narrator was fantastic, and I am very glad I listened to the Audiobook version. I felt the nature of the main female character's personality really shine through on the recording.
The novel was shorter than I would have liked, but as I said, it is a YA novel so I understand that was probably the reason it was of a shorter length than I am accustomed to.
I have yet to purchase the sequel, but have checked it out & added it to my wish list and am very much looking forward to devouring it as I did with this first book!!

Good Story but is it all there?

This novel was a captivating listen for me and the narrator did a fantastic job.
However, it made me curious as to whether their will be a sequel...the ending left me feeling as though there should have at least been an epilogue!
I'm not sure if it was meant to be that open-ended, but it seemed almost rushed and was perplexing to me.
I hope this author does a follow-up, as I would definitely purchase a sequel!
I definitely do not regret purchasing this, although I do wish it had been longer.

Ohhh Baby...!!

I devoured Mary Kubica's debut novel last summer and eagerly awaited the release of this one. I took off one star for the story because I thought it started off a bit slowly with it really starting to pick up near the middle and heighten until the ending seemed more rushed than seemed fit.
However, the twists that begin unravelling in the plot line are sublime & exciting! I actually found myself exclaiming and gasping out loud with each new discovery I really did NOT see coming, right up until the very end. This book was more than worth the credit, and I would have purchased it anyway if I had used my credits up and would not have been sorry I did!!
The narration was fantastic and heightened the experience of this novel overall for me and I will be highly recommending this audiobook!
Can hardly wait for this author's next one!!! Mary Kubica has now solidified a place amongst my favorite authors. :)
