Fun, quick listen
Revisado: 04-24-24
This story begins with a common online problem, when a person is unfairly targeted online with extreme negativity. I thought that was a really great premise that is easy to relate to. It drew me in quickly. Then it adds mystery and what I would consider to be paranormal intrigue
This was fun for me to listen to. It's an interesting hook for the series and has me curious about where it will go from here.
The narration was clear and easy to understand at all times, even when listening in a noisy environment.

Such a GREAT book!
Revisado: 08-29-23
This is a great book! I absolutely love the creative world, the advanced technology, and the amazing line-up of characters! I really wish they would make it a movie–this would be phenomenal on the big screen!
This author did a great job of weaving in everything I love about science fiction with everything I love about thrillers, and the cast of characters he created really captured my heart! I love that they were so easy to relate to, but yet not typical or boring in any way.
Noah was such a fun bonus! Just wait, and you'll see!
There are plot twists and turns, truly good people, bad apples, political intrigue, and a race to save humanity! This book has it all! I even had fun hating the bad guy–he reminded me of someone I know.
The narration is excellent, clear, and easy to understand at all times, even in a noisy environment! I was able to listen while in the shower and with the lawnmower running, without missing a word–that is always essential for me. Plus, the narrator's character voices made it easy to keep up with who was who, adding nuance and emotion in all the right places!
I have already listened to this book twice. I caught a lot of foreshadowing the second time through that, which made it even better! I adore those Easter eggs!

Lighthearted and Feel-good
Revisado: 11-25-22
This is a lovely, lighthearted, feel-good Christmas romance. The stress level is very low, which is super important to me for this type of book. The characters are good people, with intelligence and motivation, and the sexual tension was a lot of fun!
The book was a little more than a simple romance too. There were quite a few other things going on that gave it all a lot more depth and even more reasons to like the characters and their families.
The narration was excellent, clear and easy to understand, even in a noisy environment.

Best friends Hero and Sunday are holidaying in New York when Sunday persuades the normally conservative Hero to don a siren-red wig and the persona of Lola, a do-anything-anywhere-anytime trapeze artist. Disguised as Lola, Hero crosses paths - and a whole lot more - with gorgeous Oscar. Sparks fly, but Hero can't admit to Oscar that she's not who he thinks she is.

Adorable and fun
Revisado: 11-19-22
This was an adorable, fun romance, modern in every possible way. I really enjoyed the unique determination of Oscar. He was a breath of fresh air for me and completely made the story!
The only reason I didn't give five stars was because the setbacks to the relationship were a little too stressful for me.
The narration was excellent, clear and easy to understand, even in a noisy environment.

Adorable love story
Revisado: 11-02-22
This is a feel-good love story with very little stress and a good bit of steam! The characters are wonderful people that I would love to know in real life, which is a huge plus for me. They also have great jobs that really helped draw me into the story. From museums in New York to London, the settings were magical!
I really liked the modern meet-cute, and the sexual tension that it infused into the entire story. I also loved how low-key that the problems were throughout the story. Some books really take that too far, but I really appreciated the excellent way this author kept the tone light and the stress low.
The ending was perfect and oh so heartwarming!
The narration was excellent, clear and easy to understand, even in a noisy environment.

Adorable short
Revisado: 10-24-22
This is an adorable short audio book. The characters are sexy, smart, and extremely likeable. The sexual chemistry between them is delicious and a lot of fun to read about. I enjoyed the large family backdrop and their role in this love story, which really added an extra dash of sentimentality for me.
The narration was excellent, clear and easy to understand, even in a noisy environment.

Ever have one of those days where life just plain sucks? Welcome to my last three months - ever since I caught my can’t-be-soon-enough-ex-husband cheating with his paralegal. I’m 35 years old, and I’ve lost my NYC apartment, my job, my money, and frankly, my dignity. But the final heartache in the suck sandwich of my life? My great-aunt Maggie died. The only family member who’s ever gotten me. Even after death, though, she’s helping me get back up again. Too bad that bravado only lasts as long as it takes to drive into Huckleberry Hills. And see the house.
