This new series does not disappoint. Love how Mary grounds us in the world of the Bedwyn’s with mentions of Morgan and other family. Can’t wait for the next book in the series!

I love the ensemble cast books! It really makes the story come to life. The story was well done and performance by the narrators was great. Would recommend this book.

Wonderful story!

Loved the book was not happy with the narrator Natasha Soudek. She speaks so slowly and softly that I almost did not finish the book. Glad I pushed through because this seems to be a good series.

Will not actively search out books narrated by Soudek.

Narration Disappointment

This is the first time reading anything by this author and though I liked the story line, the narrator really killed it for me. I was able to make it through the first book (just barely) but could not make it through second book due to the narrator.

This narrator made the characters sound whiny and very child like in the first book and got worse in the second book. Will never listen (my poor ears!) to anything this person is narrating!

Narrator is sooo bad!

Couldn’t get past the first chapter because the narrator is so monotone and she kept drawing out the last word of each sentence. I think this story would be really good if I could stand to listen to this particular narrator.

Thank goodness this book was part of my romance package, and I didn’t really waste an actual credit on it.

Really should have stayed with the original narrator!

I am really disappointed with the narrator that they chose for the reading of this book. There is so many big reveals in this book, that the narrator's performance was marking it really hard to enjoy!

The pronunciations of so many of the names and word that we have become so used to in previous books, was like listening to nails in a chalkboard. I agree with an earlier review when they said that the narrator should have done some research on the other books! At lest she would have known how the original narrator was pronouncing certain words and names.

With that being said, I am glad I stuck it out because the book was great! Love where this is going. They have Marguerite Gavin ( the original narrator) back for the rest of the books!

Surprisingly disappointed in the storyline.

I love Sherrilyn Kenyon's books. I was very disappointed with this one. I don't often do many book reviews, so I feel I have to speak my mind on this one though. I feel like I am just rereading two previous books wrapped up in a new cover and calling it "Dragonmarked". I understand having to pull the time lines together to complete our hero's story, but it truly was a cut and paste job. I was able to literally skip several chapters and still not miss anything new until close to the end of the book.

With that being said, I will continue to read Ms. Kenyon's books. I can't wait for the next book in any of her series! She truly has a talent to make you love her characters. Even the ones you love to hate end up getting a story. Then you find out that they were just misunderstood.

Another wonderful series!

I loved the characters in this two part series. Debbie always has a way of making you feel full vested in the story and characters. I would recommend her books to anyone. Just waiting for the last book in her Rose Harbor series now. Can't wait!
