Historia
The galaxy is doomed. Monkeys may be clever and too stubborn to give up, but Skippy The Idiot Who Got Played knows the harsh truth: this is a fight he can’t win. The odds are not only stacked against him, he was designed not to win this fight. Maybe he can salvage some faint memory of the civilizations that inhabit the galaxy, but those beings are doomed. Doomed. Including the Merry Band of Pirates.

Acceptable but not great
Revisado: 10-11-21
The writing gets very repetitive and the main character is very over the top at times. To be expected when your main character is a teenager, but it reads like the author isn't sure if the main character should be a teenager or a Mary Sue.
It runs into the "strong female character" trope several times, wherein the main character is strong and female, but that's about the limit of her depth.
It's not terrible and if you don't mind repetition, odd phrasing, or very, very YA stories then this is up your alley.
The narrator did a wonderful job and is great with accents.
My advice is to read the reviews here, there reviews of the print version on Amazon, and then avoid it if you aren't 14 and just entering the world of fantasy.

Great stories, meh narration
Revisado: 06-29-21
The stories themselves were great! the narration was not as good. It seemed like the narrator struggled with how she wanted to sound. Her pronunciation was odd. It was also really jarring to hear Tamas pronounced like Tomas and Hrusch to be Rush.
I think I'd enjoy the narrator with other books where she knows how she wants to read the story and how she wants to sound. Her pronunciation and accent was a bit all over the place and made me think of Moira Rose a bit.
