Such a Gift

If you would like to cultivate a mind of peace and learn to be fully present and at One with the Source and ground of being, you need look no further than this superb offering. I enjoy slowing down the speed of the narrator to 5x and playing it while I fall asleep to put me in my right mind at the end of the day. Thank you Robert Wolfe and Deon Vozov for this expounding on the perfection of an already perfect text which has quintessentially become my Holy Grail!

Historia
Extraordinary things happen when we harness the power of both the brain and the heart. Growing up in the high desert of California, Jim Doty was poor, living with an alcoholic father and a mother chronically depressed and paralyzed by a stroke. Today he is the director of the Center for Compassion and Altruism Research and Education at Stanford University, of which the Dalai Lama is a founding benefactor.

So full. A lifetimes worth of wisdom. Will definitely be buying hard copies as gifts though I am glad that I got the recorded version for myself as I will certainly refer to the bookmarked summaries and meditations that were made at the end of chapters for these invaluable lessons to sink in deeper and deeper. So thankful for this experience. Narrator was appropriate and did well. What a find!!!
