Oh these Bradford men! I am always thinking this one is my favorite, but honestly, Hendrix has stolen the spot! He and Raven have a one night stand at his sister Dylan's wedding. Now the two are off, Hendrix to his life of football and Raven pursuing her career as a meteorologist. Jump ahead a year, and the two meet again, only this time, Raven has a surprise. His daughter. But Raven comes with a plan and solution. Have a fake marriage to secure her trust fund. This will give him a chance to get to know the baby and let her be in a position to take care of herself. But nothing is that easy. This is a phenomenal listen, one I could not put down. Yes, I stayed awake to listen and I am so glad I did. The chance to hang with the other brothers and their families and see Hendrix connect with Haddy. It's an instant connection and a slow burn love that had me and I can say, I loved every minute. This is definitely a wonderful listen and great addition to the series.

Aaron Shedlock and Stefanie Kay bring all the emotions with this listen. Shedlock is so good as Hendrix, using his voice to seduce and love Raven and Haddy. Kay is a little more hesitant, but she has the vulnerable feel, and the true love she is trying to keep down. These two had me invested and I enjoyed it!

Great start to the Perry men!

Well hello Perry brothers. I am so happy to meet them, but especially Ryder. When he accidentally is hit by Annabelle, he is propositioned with an offer he can't refuse. Annabelle needs to be married to take over the family business and when Belle gives him the price she is willing to pay, he takes her up on it. But is that the reason he does it? This is a fun, instant chemistry, fake marriage listen that had rooting for the couple from the start. Belle is a fantastic character, full of ideas and compassion for those around her. Her feelings are genuine and she is easy to read. Ryder is quite a man. He is loyal and right there with Belle as things get messy. But will they be able to pull the wool over Belle's father's eyes? Fun! Fun! Fun! This is a great beginning to the series and has left me wanting more! I can't wait for the next one.

Melissa Green, what a great voice! She comes in full barrel as Belle. She is a strong personality with a hint of vulnerability that grows as Ryder gets to know her. I love the way Green portrays her with all the emotions. Jarman Day is so smooth and sweet, it's impossible not to fall for Ryder. He finds this man's Achilles heel and let's all the feels come through. Loved this combination and their narration.

My favorite of the series!

Oh my. This series is one of my favorites, but this book just stole my heart. Grumpy sunshine is the trope, but the true light is nine year old Becca. The daughter of Bowie Fox, she has downs syndrome and is the light of Bowie's life. Over protective and her everything, he isn't too excited about the instant connection Poppy has with Becca. Or is it the instant connection he has with Poppy? Poppy is everywhere, and almost impossible for him to stop thinking about her. When she has Becca becoming involved inactivities at her school, it's the last straw. Smiling and his heart slowly melting, begin their journey. It's sweet and fun and all around a wonderful story. Bringing in so much of the single dad's playbook adds the good advice and things the others we have met have learned and thought worthy of sharing. The addition of those dads just brings the true feeling of family. And now I can't wait for more.

JF Harding is so good at the grumpy and boy does he play it up as Bowie. I love the changes he brings through the story and creation of a wonderful character. Samantha Brentmoor as Poppy comes in with the sunshine, full of love and passion not only for Bowie, but for her work and Becca. And Lily D Moore. What a breath of fresh air she brings to Becca. A true talent as she brings happiness and awareness to Becca. This is a fabulous narration, one that truly should be an immediate one click.

Reece & Adrianne!

You never know where you will find love. After being in the wrong place at the wrong time, Adrianne finds herself seeking help from the renowned matchmaker, Agatha. Yes, Agatha is trying to retire, but since her reputation precedes her, she is still receiving letters, and luckily she may just have a match for her. Now Adriane is off to meet, her intended. Reece is thrilled when he sees her, but when he learns one of the reasons she has come was to seek refuge, he is unsure of his decisions. Getting to know her may be the key. Now the story is off and running. This wonderful small town brings all the entire community together, some are matches I have met prior which gives that coming home feel. The suspense thread adds that thrill and Ginny gives a fun secondary story for Matt, the deputy. I loved this one, it's another inspirational story that warms the heart.

Douglas Birk and EJ Lavery work so well together and their narration of this is spot on. The two each bring the characters alive, add the voices that are perfect for the personalities and make it easy to fall into the story and keep me engaged. I love them and enjoyed their performance.

Miles & Leighton!

Miles. Do I need to say more? Miles and Leighton were thrown together by the matchmaker. Ok, not really a matchmaker, but Miles's grandmother, Birdie paired them up when Leighton needed some help with work. And from there, these two had a chemistry. But the catch to it all, and to their surprise, Leighton's dad is Miles's coach. Now they know they can't continue a relationship. Right? Friends will work. And the story goes Now it's not your typical story, it's packed with spice and sneaking around, but Lauren Blakely adds her own flare and it's emotional. Miles is a man that is easy to love, and his devotion and attention to details is impeccable. Leighton is driven, and a bit uneasy when it comes to a serious relationship. Their connection is easy to feel and I was routing for them the whole time. And I absolutely loved Birdie and the dogs!

Samantha Brentmoor and Jason Clarke bring this gem alive. Brentmoor gives voice to Leighton, and I loved how she is super passionate yet hesitant. She pulls off the new adult feeling that Leighton has and lets her grow through the story. Clarke is Miles, and he delves into his heart. Easy to hear the love come through, he made Miles incredibly lovable. I always enjoy these two when they team up and once again my heart was happy.

Monty & Lark!

Fun! Fun! Fun! Julia Jarrett continues her Vancouver Tridents with another home run of a story! Meet Dan, aka Monty! He is the catcher for the team and best friends with Lark, the team trainer. Lark is about to get married, and though he is in love with her, he keeps his feelings to himself. Until she unexpectedly breaks it off with her fiance and is kissing him! HIM!! Now the fun begins. There is a lot going on in the friends to lovers story, from first times to unexpected surprises. It's about love and friendship, dealing with family and finding out that life is more than settling. I loved this story and it's a great addition to this fantastic baseball series.

Victoria Connolly and Tim Paige are the narrators and what a team! They bring Lark and Monty alive with their voices. Connolly is so good as Lark, and she easily gives her the inflections and nuances to create a fabulous character. Paige is Monty, and all that positivity, the love, the affection, pours out of him, making Monty impossible not to love. Together they made this listen and I can't wait for more!

Fabulous story! Couldn't put it down!

Rafael. What a man! Yes, he is the kind I would love to have around, but when he first walked in on Lulu, she didn't think so. The first of many times she hits him, little do either know where it will lead. Lulu is a strong woman, not to be deterred from her path. Especially by a man! This frenemies story had me from the start. Is it because Beefcake is in it? Well, he has to be the smartest old soul and the most entertaining kid of all time. But he is just a bonus. It's the fantastic banter, the fake relationship, and the chemistry that Laura Pavlov has created between these two that kept me interested. And add in the crossover characters from Magnolia Falls and I am in love. This is a story not to be missed.

Sean Masters and Vanessa Edwin are an amazing pairing and easily fall into their characters. Masters is Rafe, full of charisma and a heart of gold. Edwin is Lulu, and she has a lot to prove to herself and her family, and I love how she pulls out all her frustration. These two together have a chemistry in their performance that is easily felt and connected me to the story. Loved it!

Huntley & Dani!

This is a fun one! Stacy Eaton continues her Loving a Young series with Huntley. He is quite the man! Going to a house fire, he helps Daniela get out, save her dog and find a place to stay. Now she is staying with his parents and this is the last thing she wants. She moved to town to hide after being stalked by a fan. As a famous romance author, she never thought someone would become obsessed with her, and starting over in a small town where no one knows her seems perfect, until the house fire. Now she has people fussing over her, and she is getting a taste of what it's like to be living in this particular small town. She and Huntley have taken a liking to each other, but she still holds secrets, which may just be the breaking tie between them. Plus, the danger is still lurking and she feels that need to flee. What happens? Eaton is a master at the small town suspense romance, and I am all in for this. The fun the women have with the books, the fantastic dog and the building of feelings had me, but then the thrills come and I am a goner. I couldn't stop listening. It's nonstop action and fun.

Cathryn Royce voices this gem and it's amazing. I love a great narrator and she brings this one alive. Looking forward to more.

After losing his wife, he didn't want to get married again. Lauren too has lost her spouse several years ago and is ready to start over. Now she is catching the eye of more than just Milton and she has to decide what to do with her life. Will she choose someone else? In true Janice Cole Hopkins fashion, she pulls me into this story, and just when I think I know what is going to happen, she throws a thread of suspense in that I don't expect! It adds depth and excitement to this love story and created a fabulous listen!

Douglas Birk and EJ Lavery are perfect for this narration, and their combined performance kept the love growing and suspense building. I love these two, and love how they create the characters and make me feel like I am right there as the story is unfolding. They are wonderful.

Oohh Clay!!

There is nothing better than a good he falls first story! Melissa Foster pens a wonderful listen with her first book in the Bradens at Ridgeport and I am so glad I grabbed it! This features Clay, a football quarterback who is on a mission. Win the heart of Pepper, the scientist. Pepper has other ideas. She has obstacles to overcome, and putting her work first and remain in the quietness that is her home is top priority. An extra night in Paris though has her thinking about Clay. Talk about engaging, this story had me from the start. Their first night together grabbed my heart and now I needed to see how Clay would play it all out. After all, he is in the limelight, he travels and that makes it hard to have a relationship. Or does it? Pepper has real feelings but has to make some decisions. How does it all play out? Get ready for a great romance, including some of the Bradens we have some to know and love. It will worm into your heart just like it did mine.

Savannah Peachwood is so good as Pepper. Her feelings are strong, whether it's her passion for work or for Clay. She plays her conflicting feelings perfectly. Christian Fox is Clay, and he is sensual, and seductive. He delves into the reasons why he loves Pepper and pours it out in his voice. A fantastic listen that should not be missed.
