Historia
Adam Binder has lost what matters most to him. Having finally learned the true identity of the warlock preying on his family, what was supposed to be a final confrontation with the fiend instead became a trap that sent Adam’s beloved Vicente into the realm of the dead, where none living are meant to be. Bound by debt, oath, and love, Adam blazes his own trail into the underworld to get Vicente back, and to end the threat of the warlock once and for all. But the road to hell is paved with far more than good intentions.

Surprisingly captivating

The narration was ok; however they made a 40 year old woman sound like an old crown… as a woman OVER 40 that was painfully hear 😂

Great story but narrative was dry and amateurish and would be excellent if re-read

Historia
This extraordinary travel book tells the true story of how in 1997 writer Michael Paterniti agreed to take a road trip from New Jersey to California, reuniting the preserved brain of the great scientist Albert Einstein (1879-1955) with his granddaughter Evelyn. Paterniti's improbable travelling companion is 84-year-old Thomas Harvey, the pathologist who not only removed Einstein's brain from his head during the autopsy but purloined it from Princeton Hospital also!

A very introspective book
Revisado: 10-22-15
The imagery created by Paterniti is so refreshing. It nice to see writing that reflects the art that writing can be when done with thought and purpose and not just a vomit of words.

Historia
Why we think it’s a great listen: You thought he was a stodgy scientist with funny hair, but Isaacson and Hermann reveal an eloquent, intense, and selfless human being who not only shaped science with his theories, but politics and world events in the 20th century as well. Based on the newly released personal letters of Albert Einstein, Walter Isaacson explores how an imaginative, impertinent patent clerk became the mind reader of the creator of the cosmos.

Focus on science not as much on social science
Revisado: 10-15-15
It when into a lot of detail in regards to his theories which can be overwhelming. I liked the parts regarding his personal history, but I was expecting more " social" history like when he met w the Indian poet and that pivotal meeting and his interactions w the movers and shakers of his era

Historia
Borderline personality disorder, autism, narcissism, psychosis, Asperger's: All of these syndromes have one thing in common---lack of empathy. In some cases, this absence can be dangerous, but in others it can simply mean a different way of seeing the world. In The Science of Evil, Simon Baron-Cohen, an award-winning British researcher who has investigated psychology and autism for decades, develops a new brain-based theory of human cruelty.

A perspective that is original
Revisado: 07-02-15
Would you listen to The Science of Evil again? Why?
The science is amazing; his conclusion definitely opens up the topic to debate even if you don't agree but it will make a reader think deeply about the motivations behind human action
