A good listen for history buffs.

Excellent, well listen narrative! The author has the long forgotten ability to make history into an imaginative, lively story. While I studied the ancient world in graduate school, it never was "real" to me until I read this audiobook. This is a must listen . After listening it, I bought a copy for a family member.
