Characters work well together

I found the overall story rather lacking. I'll admit i normally listen to books with run times of 14-40+ hours so for me this seemed very short. It was well written and the full cast gave it depth. I loved the different sound effects that helped to bring the story to life. The biggest reason for my 3 star overall is that this really just felt like act 1 of a much larger story.

I loved the twists and turns throughout the story. I do hope that a possible love story between the queen and the white rider happens but I guess we'll see just what paths the characters take.

Great start to what I hope is a long series

I really enjoyed this story because the writing was done very well in my view. The way it was written leads me to believe they have experience in the general setting. I have listened to many books as I drive down US Highways and I am always looking for engaging stories to listen to. This book reminded me of great writers such as Brandon Sanderson and Christopher Poleine ( miss spelled I think). I would strongly recommend this book to anyone who likes space, fantasy, and language that is not afraid to offend. When I was tired this story helped me stay alert with is own form of comedy and action.
It was the husband who listened to this wonderful book and wrote this review.
