Historia
The Principal Investigator of the Chaalt people has covertly enlisted the aid of Nathan Myers and the crew of the Legacy. They desperately need help gaining access to their secret Prule research station. The facility has gone dark, and the automated defenses activated. Even the Chaalt's own advanced warships were not able to breach the shield dome and disable the cutting edge weaponry that protects the base. Nathan and his crew are in a race against time, because they believe a Prule Hivemind they once captured, now controls the facility.

Historia
Dangerous forces are at work across galactic space that the Omnians are attempting to stabilize, but their resources are severely strained. The SADEs, self-aware digital entities, express to Alex Racine and Renée de Guirnon their desire to know the method of their creation. Alex and Renée, the Omnian co-leaders, want to obtain the knowledge for the SADEs, who are humans’ closest allies. Alex, Renée, and Julien, a friend and a SADE, board the giant city-ship, Freedom, which sails for Méridien, the home world of the far-reaching human colonies of the Confederation.

Where I was pleased to get this audio book in a reasonable time frame. We do get attached to an outstanding reader. Please bring back Nicole Poole in Earthers.

Historia
Lieutenant Commander Jason Reynolds has had a string of bad luck lately - evident by the uncomfortable house arrest bracelet strapped to his right ankle. Worse yet, he's relegated to his grandfather's old house and rambling scrapyard. To complicate things, the women in his life are pulling from every direction. But it's through a bizarre turn of events that Jason is led to a dried up subterranean aquifer hundreds of feet below ground. Here he discovers an advanced alien spacecraft, one that will propel his life in a new direction.

A good listen with notes
Revisado: 08-16-18
If I were to have started this series as it was being released, I would have hated it. Its broken up to make you buy the next, rather tan each being a complete story. Maybe best said this was written as if published in a monthly magazine. The writer has a propensity to write to a pull a rabbit out of the hat moment. Author please understand, you are better than this. For me, listening to this in a binge session, the overall result is a good story.

Even so, Chrysalis is in danger, and Whatsit is determined to rescue his fellow Chrysallamans. It's a task he knows he cannot accomplish without the help of his human brethren. With the threat of future attacks looming, the humans will have to decide whether it's best to go on the defensive at home on Earth.

Un-necessary tread in story
Revisado: 09-08-17
Do you think Dawn of Chrysalis needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?
Obviously a book from a series, and I'm looking forward to the next book being brought to Audible. My only problem with the story line is the religious aspect. The thread just doesn't fit the rest of the story and seems added on. Without this thread the book would be better.

Historia
It's the year 2277. For 50 years, Earth has received mysterious data transmissions from random locations in deep space. The streams include advanced technology, allowing humans to achieve faster-than-light travel virtually overnight. As we prepare to take our first tentative steps into interstellar space, we know almost nothing about our alien benefactors, and their motivations remain unexplained.

Good writing, and good subjuct matter
Revisado: 08-23-16
What made the experience of listening to TFS Ingenuity the most enjoyable?
Loved the book science, story line, and pace. My only criticism is it ended on a sequel come on. Book one does not want to stand on its own merits. yes I will buy the next book, but I would have done it anyway, because I like the story. I don't like the trend of writing a story and then breaking it down into magazine snippets.
