I’ve listened to countless audio books and can’t remember having done a rating or review on any of them. This one is unique. Despite being a story format, It gave me many more ah ha moments and insight than the typical self help/leadership/motivational books that I listen to. Very well done and strongly recommended.

The approach comes from a heavy military background. While I cannot personally identify with the approach, I can appreciate and understand the concepts. The book helps you to open your eyes and mind to a different way of seeing the world... A different approach.

Nicely done, engaging, motivating. Helps you get into the right frame of mind to succeed and shows you how.
Some people tend to critique books blindly based upon their own limitations. This is a book provides the substance that is required to be a success... Create self motivation, take those action steps, change your mindset.
Very good addition to a "success book" collection.

What did you like best about The Best Kept Secrets of Great Communicators System? What did you like least?

The first half of the book was actually very good and informative. I would highly recommend it based upon that. I was surprised to begin hearing a vocabulary list for the last half... hundreds of vocabulary words with definitions, how they are used in sentences, and common grammar usage issues. While I have to admit, most of these were helpful, quite a few are already present in my everyday communication. I kept skipping ahead, hoping to hear more content, but instead, found more vocabulary.
When I look for one of these books, I look for substance (both length and content). I feel the content was adequate and very useful. The length of the book left me with a feeling of being taken advantage of.... kind of like someone who writes a term paper and packs it full of filler words to meet the minimum word requirement.
He may not have meant it that way, but it gave that disappointing impression anyway.

If you’ve listened to books by Peter Thomson before, how does this one compare?

Have not listened to any of his other books.

Which scene was your favorite?

NA

If this book were a movie would you go see it?

NA

Any additional comments?

I hate to have people completely disregard this book based upon the vocabulary list. He does offer a lot of great information. If you are basing your decision on the length of the book, consider the overall length of the book to be about 4 1/2 hours shorter than the stated length. It may help you feel a little better about the last half. The final chapter does "sum things up" but ultimately, the meat of the content is in the first 9 chapters.
Hope this helps.

What did you love best about 30 Days to a More Powerful Brain?

It walks you through the process and gives you specific things to do along the way while explaining why things happen.

What was one of the most memorable moments of 30 Days to a More Powerful Brain?

Can't pick.

Which scene was your favorite?

NA

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

No

Any additional comments?

Some things may be common sense. Other things are insightful. It all is presented in a way that truly makes you reinforce the information so you retain it and can apply it to any future information (school/work/etc...). Highly recommended.
