Just end the story already!!
Revisado: 09-25-20
Enough is enough, at this point Alanson is just in it for the cash. Its obvious by his constant rehashing of the same story line and the endless page filling banter between characters. RC Bray is as always, excellent but its painful trying to get thru the books at this point. Same old blah, blah, blah....I remember the first few books had me laughing out loud, now its just shake my head and skip chapters. Crisis after crisis gets old after a while. Just end the damn story Alanson!!!

A must for any History Buff
Revisado: 01-23-20
To be perfectly honest I purchased this book on the reputation of it's narrator RC Bray. After listening to this book I am now a die hard Craig DeLouie fan. I was totally blown away with the characters, writing style and story line. As a Veteran I identified with the characters, their interactions and the battle sequences. I'd honestly put it on par with Tom Clancy's Red Storm Rising which up to now and still is my all time favorite military story. My Father served in the Navy during WWII as a Seabee and landed on Iwo Jima with the Marines, under constant fire and harassment from the Japanese they got the runway re-opened. From the stories he told me of his service and the men he served with, Craig brought the characters to life for me. Hell, at the end of the book(s) there was even a character wrap up which left me wondering it the characters were in fact not real. RC Bray's narration was as always top notch. As a Vietnam Veteran I highly recommend this book. If I could give it 6 stars I would. Hopefully Craig will continue writing military stories in the future, Just Buy the damn book, you wont be sorry!!

Historia
Academy graduate Natalya Regyri stood first in line for her pick of engineering officer jobs, until, at the graduation party, a classmate turned up dead. Now, betrayed by her friends and framed for murder, she must flee beyond the reach of the Confederation...and any semblance of civilized society. With a damaged second-hand ship and TIC interceptors dogging her step, she nets a smuggling contract that might just get her back on her feet and in control of her destiny. But only if she's willing to make an ore run back to the place she's wanted for murder.

Somewhat disappointed
Revisado: 11-24-19
Storyline was good and definitely on par with the Clipper ship Series. My dissatisfaction lies with the narrator, the only voice that I could tolerate was Natalias, Z’s character sounded like a 5 year old and it just grated on my nerves. The men’s voices were just terrible, please get someone else to continue the series.

Historia
United Nations Special Operations Command sent an elite expeditionary force of soldiers and pilots out on a simple recon mission, and somehow along the way they sparked an alien civil war. Now the not-at-all-merry band of pirates is in desperate trouble, again. Their stolen alien starship is falling apart, thousands of light years from home. The ancient alien AI they nicknamed Skippy is apparently dead, and even if they can by some miracle revive him, he might never be the same.

Awesome
Revisado: 03-19-18
Very few books provide me with as much laugh out loud fun as the Ex-Force series. No they are not hard sci-fy, but just enough science to make the book a fun listen. So if you see a guy on NYC roads sitting in his jeep laughing, it's probably me listening to Joe and Skippy. Once again R.C Bray does his award winning best at narration.

Historia
Humans expanded into space...only to find a universe populated with multiple alien species bent on their destruction. Thus was the Colonial Union formed, to help protect us from a hostile universe. The Colonial Union used the Earth and its excess population for colonists and soldiers. It was a good arrangement...for the Colonial Union. Then the Earth said: no more.

So much for this series..
Revisado: 02-10-18
I loved the first couple of books in this series, then they all went to hell. The writing was strained and the story was forced. Then in book 6 I was actually getting into it again and Dufris narration was good and then ...wham they changed to Tavia Gilbert 1/3 of the way through the story. Her narration was terrible. I just couldn't listen to her, no emotion, no character development. It ruined the whole story. This one is going back for a refund.

Historia
Jazz Bashara is a criminal. Well, sort of. Life on Artemis, the first and only city on the moon, is tough if you're not a rich tourist or an eccentric billionaire. So smuggling in the occasional harmless bit of contraband barely counts, right? Not when you've got debts to pay and your job as a porter barely covers the rent. Everything changes when Jazz sees the chance to commit the perfect crime, with a reward too lucrative to turn down.

Its definitely not the Martian
Revisado: 12-10-17
The Martian is one of my favorite books and Movies. Its funny, technical and entertaining. Artemis on the other hand is slow moving, boring and is read with almost no emotion. Weir seemed to rush this one out with nowhere near the quality or technical research of The Martian. I had high hopes but could not even get 1/3 of the way through the book.

Gus drives me nuts
Revisado: 12-06-17
Once again our hero Gus manages to get himself into more trouble with some really badass characters. The 2 Special Forces soldiers are top notch and larger than life (I didnt know Canada even had SF teams). I found myself yelling out loud when Gus is about to do something stupid that it obvious to everyone but him. I hope there is a Book 5 as I'd like to see Gus reunited with his old friend Scott.

Historia
Colonel Joe Bishop made a promise and he's going to keep it; taking the captured alien starship Flying Dutchman back out. He doesn't agree when the UN decides to send almost 70 elite Special Operations troops, hotshot pilots, and scientists with him; the mission is a fool's errand he doesn't expect to ever return from. At least, this time, the Earth is safe, right? Not so much.

This Sumbitch is crazy
Revisado: 11-10-17
Gus, the only guy I know who fights hard to stay alive meanwhile does the dumbest out of his mind things looking to get himself killed. I was literally yelling at the character to not do this or that. I foresaw the consequences, but damn if didn't do them anyway.
Aside from that it was a great book about the zombie apocalypse and one mans continious fight for survival. Well written and once again R.C Bray nails the narration.
I'm buying the series, it's that good.
