Superb on all levels
Revisado: 04-24-24
Narration is done with an exacting dignity worthy of a studied classical linguist. Content is uniquely authentic and robust in its approach and rigorous in its deliberation and execution. Easy to listen. Easy to follow and dripping with the overwhelming drive to link truth and fact to a foundational esoteric fiction. Bravo.

Historia
For David Goggins, childhood was a nightmare--poverty, prejudice, and physical abuse colored his days and haunted his nights. But through self-discipline, mental toughness, and hard work, Goggins transformed himself from a depressed, overweight young man with no future into a US Armed Forces icon and one of the world's top endurance athletes. The only man in history to complete elite training as a Navy SEAL, Army Ranger, and Air Force tactical air controller, he went on to set records in numerous endurance events.

Life Altering
Revisado: 10-01-19
This book is the book I would have written if I'd written my own life story. The Pheonix is the fabled bird that is resurrected out of its own ashes, and I have exemplified this with my life through many limitations and obstacles that some said I could NEVER attain. Through sheer will I have shattered what most including my own family thought was impossible. For ANYONE that thinks they can do whatever is their hearts desire have only the believe in themselves and work hard to create the vision for themselves. Thank you for writing this book. David Goggins is not just an inspiration, but a role model that this generation should learn from.

Historia
Faust is one of the pillars of Western literature. This classic drama presents the story of the scholar Faust, tempted into a contract with the Devil in return for a life of sensuality and power. Enjoyment rules, until Faust’s emotions are stirred by a meeting with Gretchen, and the tragic outcome brings Part 1 to an end. Part 2, written much later in Goethe’s life, places his eponymous hero in a variety of unexpected circumstances, causing him to reflect on humanity and its attitudes to life and death.

Loved IT! They should get John Hurt to play a major part as well as Jeremy Irons to play Faust.
