A new series, a nice start

The first in a projected series. I got this book because I am a huge fan of Robert Stanek. His Kingdoms and the Elves of the Reaches books are what got me reading Suzanne Collins Underland Chronicles and that led me to this. All in all a good read. It may be a childrens book but the message it conveys is anything but childish, it is mature and therefore may fit with adult readers too. Plus it is a relatively easy read.

Go on vacation with Buster

My kids and I are working our way through all the Bugville Critters books and we LOVE them. These are wonderfully written stories with humor and adventure. The voicing is fun and playful. In this story, Buster is worried about going on vacation with his family but then has so much fun he forgets to be worried. Like the others, a must read for any age child.

Such a fun adventure for children! The voicing is fun and playful. The story line says that you can be yourself just because you can be and that at the end of the day, you can still go home and be safe and loved. This book is a must read for any age.

Buster goes to school

This book is a must have for all little kids! The writing is exceptional and as fun to listen to the hundredth time as the first. Even after a year, my child still regularly asked to read this book and I was delighted to find it in audio. The audio comes to life as well as the printed book. Makes a great bedtime story!

The best finale

Robert Stanek's ruin mist stories began with the amazing Kingdoms and the Elves of the Reaches books and continued with the In the Service of Dragons books. The entire series is excellent and highly highly recommended, but he truly saved the best for last. Such a phenominal conclusion making this an even better series.

Robert Stanek is our favorite author and this is another excellent book in the series. If you are a fan of fantasy or just looking for a great book, this is a great book. Be sure to start with the first one.

Robert Stanek is our favorite writer. My son and I have read and listened to these books over and over again and yet we never get tired of them they are simply magical!

Beautifully read! Buster's antics and adventures are enormously fun even for grown ups! We loved the stories and couldn't wait to listen to others.

My son started reading Stanek's Kingdoms and the Elves books a few years back and he loved them so much everyone in the family has read them now. If you liked the adventures in The Kingdoms and the Elves, you'll like the Service of Dragons books just as much for their action sequences.

Robert Stanek is one of the most amazing authors. His works are terrific and my kids loved the printed book so much we just had to get the audio. I was so pleased to find the audio is so well done too. Highly highly recommended.
