Historia
Andrew Roberts' Napoleon is the first one-volume biography to take advantage of the recent publication of Napoleon's thirty-three thousand letters, which radically transform our understanding of his character and motivation. At last we see him as he was: protean multitasker, decisive, surprisingly willing to forgive his enemies and his errant wife Josephine.

Incredible

Napoleon.. all that can be said of him is said in this book. It’s detailed, lively, and appropriate. As a student of history I have never exactly been drawn to the napoleonic era, despite its vast importance on the world’s stage. This book opened the gateway in which its relevance flooded forth and left me yearning more. Highly recommended.

Historia
The modern audience hasn't had a chance to truly appreciate the unknowing dread that readers would have felt when reading Bram Stoker's original 1897 manuscript. Most modern productions employ campiness or sound effects to try to bring back that gothic tension, but we've tried something different. By returning to Stoker's original storytelling structure - a series of letters and journal entries voiced by Jonathan Harker, Dr. Van Helsing, and other characters - with an all-star cast of narrators, we've sought to recapture its originally intended horror and power.

Robin does a wonderful job if immersing his listeners in the world of byzantium, a period of history not often touched on.

I found this book in the middle school library about 20 years ago. I've read it several times. I simply loved it every time!
listening to this was just as gratifying as reading it those years ago. I did have trouble with the sound effects and music at first, having never heard many audio books containing such prominent background noises and musical themes, I was afraid it would be too much for me. I'm glad I stuck it out, the voice acting is Incredible and everything is very well done. it's the same wonderful adventure as before.
