I downloaded this book as my "get through the airport" book and could not put it down! the plot gave me chills! So well written and well read! I liked that the perspectives changed between two main characters too. I'm suggesting this to everyone - definitely time well spend on a good thriller!

Heartwarming

I loved this story! So many of the words were relatable! finding yourself after a relationship is difficult, but so important. And Neil Patrick Harris does an incredible job narrating! He kept me interested in the story!

A must read!

I absolutely love Brene's work! my favorite book by her so far! As someone who recently was promoted at work this has been a must read for me as a navigate new scenarios and rumble with coworkers who I now supervise. such a great book full of wonderful, powerful skills and lessons! I highly recommend buying the actual book though if you listen to the audio book-I really felt the need to take notes!

I've been listening from book #1 with my 7 year old son and we love these books! I read them as a child and love that I can share them with my son now! And the fact that they're read by the author is amazing! I highly recommend. Parents can love it as much as their children!

A must for the whole family!

I will continue to praise these books! I grew up listening to Magic Tree House and I love that I can now share that love with my son! And I'm learning it all again too. I love that the books are read by the author and she uses so many different voices and inflections and makes it so fun! I highly recommend the series

Amazing and Nostalgic

I read these books as a kid and now have a 6 year old son that now gets to experience this series through Audible! I love that they're read by Mary Pope Osborne; the voices she does and music in the books is so captivating and really includes listeners in the story! I absolutely recommend this for a family or for anyone who wants to show their kids the magic of this book series! My son and I love it!

I loved the story

I loved the story, but I think it was a somewhat boring rendition. I think a further analysis of the townsfolk and why they let Danny into church, why so many people looked away from his violent tendencies would have been more interesting than replaying his crimes.

Slow Story

The plot is a little underwhelming for me. But I do like the narrator's voice it was a nice accent to listen to. I think I learned a bit from this story but again a little slow and anticlimactic.
