I liked the twists and turns in the plot. The characters were likable. A fun read. Not gritty and sad, but I didn’t want that.

I want to be friends with these characters

The book was sad at the beginning and I had my doubts if I could get into it. However, once we turned the corner into happier times, I could not stop listening. Loved it! I hope there are more books in the series. I need to vicariously attend more of these dinner parties.

I love this writer and this book. Lots of twists and turns in the book which were fun to figure out. A fun world to dive into. I really liked the ending. I am ready for another book in this series.
