Historia
Early in his life, John Walsh made a commitment that he would do whatever the Lord told him to do, even if he didn't understand why. This commitment provided a foundation for his life. He has followed God's direction from the heartland of America to a bustling market in Cambodia, from a bus in Jerusalem to a water taxi in Bangkok. This audiobook tells about a few times when God interfered with John’s plans. This usually brought about a battle of wills between a man and the master of his destiny.

An inspiring journey!
Revisado: 08-07-18
John Walsh's memoir details his fascinating journey from stutterer to world-renowned storyteller. His charming narration makes this suitable for young people and yet has interest pulling power for all ages. I especially liked hearing how he overcame many personal struggles associated with learning difficulties. The background story for how the Bibletelling concept flourished is... well you'll just have to listen! Any of John Walsh's stories I love listening to! He has given me a blueprint for emulating - and I am having good success! Thanks John, for showing us how it's done!!

Historia
It can no longer be assumed that most people - or even most Christians - have a basic understanding of the Bible. Many don’t know the difference between the Old and New Testament, and even the more well-known biblical figures are often misunderstood. It is getting harder to talk about Jesus accurately and compellingly because listeners have no proper context with which to understand God’s story of redemption. In this basic introduction to faith, D. A. Carson takes seekers, new Christians, and small groups through the big story of scripture. He helps listeners to know what they believe and why they believe it.

a modern parable for the church
Revisado: 01-13-15
What is the church's business? How do we accomplish what we're supposed to be about? This is great teaching spun through the fabric of an engaging could-be-true story! I am moved and motivated to apply it's principles. Maybe you will too!
