Insta relationship and gratuitous sex

A few hours in. After setting up the story.. they fall in to sex together quickly despite both of them being single parents. Graphic sex .. and frequent mention of men’s ball sacs. Strange. As soon as they hook up the story skips ahead by 4 months. Leaving out all the details of them falling for each other beyond lust. Story has potential.. will update my review if I complete the story.

Former special forces, the best of the best! ... repeatedly make stupid decisions!
Susan Stoker's books have become very cookie cutter. Repeat the same story with new characters. The insta love and graphic sex is superficial. No longer care about the charachters or the story.. bored me.
Narration was ok.. Molly talks in a baby voice when she's nervous/ afraid... also took me out of the story.
Returned this book.. Didn't finish and cannot recommend.

Eloise/Ella is not relatable and annoying

I’ve read/listened to all of the books in the Titan series and enjoyed them. Bishop’s Queen was the only book I considered not finishing.
Bishop was easy to like...Eloise/Ella/El was not. In Her job as a social media activist she was annoying and took stupid risks. She was vegan and so sensitive to the smell of beef jerky it made her vomit.
SPOILER ALERT.....
Bishop and Eloise has dated in high school and things ended abruptly when his sister and her best friend died. In the car wreck that killed his sister she dies at the scene because her lungs were CRUSHED . This is the catalyst that creates “Eco Ella”. The accident happens because the sister was on her phone while driving. It would have been easier to understand if Ella became an advocate for safe usage of cell phones. As in “Don’t text or use your phone when driving!” Instead she becomes a person who is almost always on her phone!

I’ve listened to many books by Lori... this narrator was just OK. He managed the voices ok but at times his voice took me right out of the story. Especially when Sahara was frantic or upset.
