A whole lot of praying going on
Revisado: 11-22-23
Beware: this is Christian literature, which may or may not be what you are looking for. The main story is religious conversion but a lesser story of parent child separation and reconciliation fills in the gaps between prayers.

Ugh
Revisado: 04-05-23
Agree with previous reviews. Interesting premise but predictable and simplistic. Wish I had returned it. Save your credit.

Not a book to be listened to
Revisado: 10-01-22
Listening to this book, which is based on an internet gaming chat room, is extremely tedious, not to mention awkward and confusing. I am a fan of this series but advise other fans to read the hardcover version.

A Long Trashy Slog
Revisado: 03-07-16
Listened to this audiobook during a long car trip. The premise was somewhat intriguing but the execution was much too long. The story was predictable and filled with repetitive gratuitous sexual and violent detail. Would not have finished if trip had been shorter. A print version would have been abandoned fairly early.

Historia
After a showdown with the notorious Yemeni terrorist known as The Panther, John Corey has left the Anti-Terrorist Task Force and returned home to New York City, taking a job with the Diplomatic Surveillance Group. Although Corey's new assignment with the DSG - surveilling Russian diplomats working at the UN Mission - is thought to be "a quiet end", he is more than happy to be out from under the thumb of the FBI and free from the bureaucracy of office life.

Tedious in execution
Revisado: 06-15-15
Good idea for plot, but tedious in execution (pun intended). DeMille is losing his touch.
